Rock Shelf Pool Excavation
A difficult task for any pool building company was solved with an Erkat ER100-4 Drum Cutter coupled with a Yanmar Vio 55 excavator. With the pool to be excavated out of a suspended rock shelf in Sydney sandstone, it required a low vibration excavation technique. Any cracks or splits in the rock could result in a complete collapse in the structure. The pool was excavated solely using the Erkat cutter and a structurally sound and fantastic result achieved.
